Mrs. Samrin Parrott

Greetings Cooper Cowboys and Cowgirls!

Welcome to our school! I am excited to continue serving Cooper scholars and families this school year. Throughout my education career, I have been serving at Spring ISD. I earned a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Lamar University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Governors University.

My mission is to offer trauma-informed, diversity-sensitive, ethical, and confidential services to students and their families in the areas of personal, academic, and career counseling. As a lifelong learner, I continue to build upon my foundational knowledge and skills to ensure I am providing optimal resources and support.

I pledge to be proactive in supporting individuals who may require additional support but do not know if they exist or where to find assistance. In conjunction with this, my role includes advocacy for individuals and groups within the systems to which they belong. My professional goals are to engage in ongoing learning, research, and consultation to support the overall goals outlined in my mission statement above.
